LINE OF OUR TREATMENT IN KIDNEY FAILURE/RENAL FAILURE/CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE/MEDICAL RENAL DISEASE

The first and foremost step of our treatment is to repair the damaged renal tissue to the desirable extent. When a patient of Renal Failure approaches us his Blood Urea, S.Creatinine levels are generally raised to dangerous levels. The patient approaches us to get these levels normalized. With the help of our herbs these levels are generally gradually restored to their normal levels. But then even despite the fact that our medicines reduce the levels of B.Urea and S.Creatinine levels of the patient we never take it as our prime aim because these levels can be restored temporarily to their normal range even with the help of dialysis. Hence out foremost aim is to repair the damaged nephrons to the desirable extent so that the B.Urea levels and S.Creatinine levels of the patient are controlled not for a temporary phase but permanently.

The Second step of the treatment is to maintain the levels of electrolytes like Sodium, Potassium, etc. to the required levels in the blood of the kidney patient. The importance of maintaining the levels of these electrolytes is very important because even a slight imbalance of these can cause life endangerment of the patient. Unluckily most of the patients are unaware of these levels and they only concentrate on the B.Urea and S.Creatinine levels as a result of which electrolyte imbalance proves to be fatal in cases of many patients suffering from kidney failure. Realizing the importance of the electrolytes in the blood we keep a regular check on their levels and our medication maintains their levels withing the normal range.

Our third step is to restore the B.Urea levels in the body because if urea crosses a particular high in the body various undesirable complications ranging from mild ones like itching, loss of appetite, etc. to severe ones like fits and loss of consciousness can develop. Luckily our medication acts the quickest towards restoring the Blood Urea levels and generally the level starts decreasing right from the very first dosage of our medicine.

Our Forth step is to restore the S. Creatinine levels of our patient to its normal value. S.Creatinine is a marker which indicates the levels of toxins that are present in the body. Generally the S.Creatinine levels of the patient starts to decrease from 7th day to 15th day of our medication.

HYPERTENSION/HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE

Hypertension is one of the most common cause of Renal Failure. If the blood pressure of the patient is below 200 for systolic value and below 100 for diastolic value we control the blood pressure with the help of ayurvedic antihypertensives like shankpushpi, Rudraksham, Sarpagandha, etc.
However if the value of blood pressure is above 200 for systolic or above 100 for diastolic we advise the patient to start with the allopathic medications for controlling hypertension along with our ayurvedic treatment for renal failure. In that context we are having renowned cardiologists on our panel too which are available to our patients for consultation.

DIABETES

Diabetes is another very common cause for Renal failure. Generally it is seen that once the kidneys fail the Blood sugar of the Diabetic patients starts to remain in the normal range. The reason is that due to renal failure the insulin secreted by the pancreas or injected by the insulin injections is not properly thrown out of the body. As a result the level of the insulin in the blood increases and the blood sugar level of the patient falls. Hence the dosage of the medicines the patient is taking for controlling his blood sugar levels decreases. So generally we advise the patient to start with herbal medicines provided by us for controlling his diabetes. The best part of taking herbal medications for diabetes is that they are totally safe for the kidneys and also they contain herbs which are metoblism correctors and hence prove very beneficial for each and every cell of the body. However if the patient is willing he/she can continue with the allopathic medicines being taken.

ALLOPATHIC SUPPORTIVE TREATMENT CAN BE CONTINUED WITH OUR MEDICATIONS

Generally any patient suffering from kidney failure/Renal failure is in a state of dilemma because allopathic doctors advise against taking any sort of ayurvedic medications while ayurvedic doctors advise against taking allopathic medications. As far as our treatment methodology is concerned we never ask the patient to discontinue with his/her allopathic supportive treatment like diuretics, anti hypertensives, calcium supplements, iron supplements, Erythropoietin injection, etc. These medicines can be continued with our medication as per requirement. Gradually as the condition of the patient improves with our medication and these are no longer required, they can be withdrawn.
